Objective
The project aims to improve the nutritional status of the population, particularly women, children, and vulnerable groups, in Burkina Faso.
MMI activities
- Management and follow-up of moderate acute malnutrition cases
- Active malnutrition screening at the community level and referral of cases to the CMU (Centre Médical Urbain)
- Organization of nutritional and hygiene education sessions according to the quality standards established by the national ANJE Plan
BENEFICIARIes
The direct beneficiaries will be the 12,270 children aged 0-59 months residing in Zagtouli. Among them, 10,850 children (6-59 months) will undergo screening. An estimated 2,040 MAM children will participate in nutritional education and care sessions, while 720 healthy children will attend nutritional education sessions.
The indirect beneficiaries will be 83,363 people—the entire population of Zagtouli—who will benefit from improved healthcare services.
