The organization
Medicus Mundi Italia (MMI) is an association specialized in international socio-health cooperation, founded in Brescia (Italy) in 1968.
MMI works to improve social and health services in low-income countries, ensuring that access to health is a right for everyone. Our projects are focused on community health, prevention, hygiene education, maternal and child health, malnutrition, and major infectious diseases (HIV, tuberculosis, malaria).
We give special attention to training and education, both abroad and in Italy.
Promoting the Right to Health in order to achieve universal health coverage, according to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
"Health for All" means promoting universal health coverage to foster comprehensive, equitable and affordable access to quality health services for all people.
